The Careers Education Substack

The Careers Education Substack deals with the topic of careers education from the age of 4 to 18 years old. It is aimed at:-

  • Careers Leaders

  • Careers Advisers

  • SLT members & Governors of schools with oversight of careers provision

  • Parents who want to support their child in making career decisions

  • Home educators

  • Teachers

  • Anyone who is interested.

Up until the end of the summer term, this Substack will be free. However, from September 2025 there will still be some free articles but the majority of articles and resources will only be fully available to paid subscribers.

The aim of this Substack is to not only support careers education in all educational settings from Early Years Foundation Stage up until Sixth Form, but to lighten the load of the school staff delivering it.

In addition there will also be monthly resources that can be used to engage with parents in their child’s development and decision making around their next steps, be that discovering their skills and strengths or deciding whether to take the academic or technical route into their chosen career..

Subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website. Never miss an update.

You can sign up for the Careers Education substack as a free subscriber with either a personal or a school email.

From September, many of the blogs will be behind a paywall along with resources that I’ll be providing at the rate of at least 1 per month during school terms. To qualify for the introductory rate, you can pledge a subscription. No money will be taken from your credit or debit card until 1st September 2025.

If you want the school to subscribe and they need an invoice, please email me at info@outstandingcareers.co.uk with the school details and I’ll send an invoice for payment in September. Though again this will need to be paid by credit or debit card.
